PORTO CANAL VISITS CEREALIS GROUP

Porto Canal visited the industrial building of the Cerealis Group, a project signed by our firm Ad quadratum arquitectos.

José António Lopes, architect of our studio, during the report to Porto Canal talks about the challenge of expanding buildings around industrial architecture after leaving the Faculty of Architecture of Porto. The architect addresses the difference between the expansion and reconstruction of buildings as well as the need to respect the environment and the industrial heritage. He also mentions the architect’s important role in “taking care of the brand that is left with the territory” and makes considerations about the evolution of industrial architecture.
