OUTDOOR SPACE DESIGN

Oliveira de Azeméis, 2020

This is a project to qualify the exterior spaces of a single-family house in the city of Oliveira de Azeméis. This private-use patio is here qualified in order to enhance various modes of use, from leisure areas (future swimming pool) to places of contemplation and seating (pergola) also considering spaces for the organization of a small hour, an aromatic garden and some fruit trees.

The space now has some large trees that will be taken care of, but it lacks the planting of hedges of a different nature in part of the property’s perimeter in order to ensure better privacy conditions. The routes are organized in order to promote a progressive discovery of the succession of the various outdoor spaces proposed, increasing and diversifying the residents’ experience.

An intervention centered on around 2,300 m2 of patios on a single-family property.
