José António Lopes graduated in Architecture in Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto more than 20 years ago, and Post Graduated in Advanced Studies in Architectural Heritage. Father of all the office’s interventions, he leads a professional team who takes architecture as a matter of values, where art, design and construction techniques serve both man and the environment.

With reference to the “Oporto School”, José António Lopes conducts a strict practice of space organization, qualification and articulation of several fields of work, from territorial to detailed planning, from building to urban furniture and object design.
