EUROPEAN URBAN AGENDA IN ANALYSIS AT RTP

The architect José António Lopes participated in the RTP3 Press Magazine and left the alert for the implementation of a European urban agenda!

«It is often said that Europe is a Europe of Regions, not countries. So, let’s assume that as such. (…) To think that, for example, Funds, such as the FEDER, are the only possible resource to finance local development strategies is wrong! Europe is, of course, committed to partnerships, agreements, associations of urban authorities, small necessarily, that make themselves heard by a gain of scale, and with that they manage, in some way, to be within what is the center of concerns which is, for example, the implementation of a European urban agenda! », said José António Lopes, CEO of ad quadratum arquitectos.

During his intervention he also spoke of the need to sensitize and make young people aware of architecture.
